Pan-European cycling might catch on a bit more if this volcanic cloud hangs around much longer. Mark Beaumont is stuck in the French Alps; I did suggest via Twitter that he cycle back (see feed to your left…), as did lots of other people by the sound of it. See hisย Twitter feed.ย This flimsy pretext allows me to post the list below. It’s a bit geeky but…. If anyone should need them, this is a list of the national European cycling organisations. It was posted originally on the CTC Eurovelo 5 forumย by “megilleland”. I suppose if you happen to have fallen upon eurovelo5.comย because you are interested in the Eurovelo network and not specifically the Eurovelo 5, it may float your boat. If nothing else, it could be the basis of a good quiz question trying to figure out all the European countries’ initials… (HR? I am assuming H is Hungary…). Or just have a random click to see what the take on cycling is elsewhere in our wonderfully diverse European continent. UKIP supporters may at this point choose to sod off. Have you gone yet? Good. For those of us who believe in embracing all that Europe has to offer, click away…

I really appreciate the way the French site has an Icon for English site version and it does not work. Entent cordial. I suppose I should just learn the language, a major failing so far in my life. Hey Ho
