Warning: Detailed (And I Mean Detailed) Maps Of The EuroVelo Network

One for the maps geeks. (Of which I am one…) You may wish to turn away if you have a dodgy internet connection as clicking on the links below is likely to test your patience in terms of download time, but I will persist. It is often a justified criticism of the European Cyclists’ Federation – the people who manage the EuroVelo network – that they haven’t, in the past, made available a detailed online version of the excellent paper overview map of the EuroVelo network. Well, now they have and it’s a brand new updated version for 2020. Prepare for your internet connection to be tested…

The two images that you can see below are the lower quality versions of the maps. Click on the links below each map to download the high quality jpeg (resolution about 10,000 x 10,000) or pdf versions. It might be time to put the kettle on…

  1. Thank you for these downloads. Rare in Australia where I live. Using paper version IGN 924 Voies Vertes et Veloroutes de France to plan a trip later this year. Do you have any information on the EuroVelo Android App? It won’t work for me until I’m actually in Europe sensibly enough, so in the dark a bit as to whether to rely on it or not. Komoot is rather brilliant I’ve found so I may just simply use that instead. Thank you though for the above which are very useful and as you say detailed.🙏🏾🙏🏾

  2. I can see more evenings being spent with a mug of tea, packet of biscuits and a lot of speculative route-planning… all I need is for just one of my premium bonds to come good…
