Wellโฆ while you were watching all those videos in the previous post (no?) , I was out on a Bike Called Wanda knocking off nearly 50km on a nice ride with a friend along the valley to Hebden Bridge and then a return home via The Piece Hall in Halifax. And Iโm delighted to report that she is in fine fettle to say that she has remained motionless (I canโt be bothered to check if itโs stationery or stationary – I always forgetโฆ) at the back of my living room since our trip to Scotland back in November of 2021.
Shame about being called a c*** by the driver of the Land Rover Discovery shown below. He squeezed past me – mounting the pavement in the process – in order to turn left into a car park at a set of traffic lights. When I politely asked if he considered what he had done to be safe he proceeded to abuse me adding that he would โknock [my] f****** glasses offโ if I didnโt go away. Nice. I wonder if his family are proud of him. Mmmโฆ Twitter has spoken:
At least the welcome in Hebden Bridge was a good one ๐ Happy cycling!

I hope you reported this to the police. The only way people like this will stop being aggressive is if the police have a word with them.
