The following report will be included in the next episode of The CyclingEurope.org Podcast published on October 1st. It was recorded during my visit to Brussels last week to meet up with the project team developing the tourism aspect of the Eurovelo 5. It also includes a look at the urban cycling infrastructure of the Belgian capital, especially the Brussels Greenway that was featured in the video posted a couple of days ago (see earlier post):
The full podcast will also include interviews with Matej Mohoric (one of the stage winners at this year’s Vuelta a Espana), Barry Godin (cycling filmmaker extraordinaire), an investigation into ‘greenways’ more generally (not just in Brussels but across Europe), an extract from ‘Crossing Europe on a Bike Called Reggie‘ read by someone other than me (listen in to find out who!) and a report from this year’s Bike Show in Birmingham that takes place next weekend. Don’t forget that episode 1 can still be downloaded via your preferred podcast provider, including iTunes.
