…via the eastern part of Anglesey.
After yesterday’s storm and my slightly truncated journey that stopped at the Victoria Hotel close to the Menai Suspension Bridge, I decided against a long ride to Holyhead and back for the sake of starting the cycle along the Lon alas Cymru where, err… it finishes. More of that tomorrow.
Instead, I spent most of the day exploring the eastern end of Anglesey and rather than read about it, you can watch the video. Lights? Camera? Action!
I’ve now arrived in Caernarfon and will shortly be heading off to my Warmshowers host for the evening. First impressions of the town are excellent; it’s not often you find a main square like this in the UK:
