Here’s the description from the Keen website: “From bike to trail and back again, the versatile, breathable Arroyo Pedal will take you where you want to go. Combining the best elements of a bike shoe, trail shoe and a sandal, this all-terrain wonder features waterproof nubuck leather, a comfortable compression moulded midsole and a trail-gripping rubber outsole to produce a terrific triple threat for your HybridLife.” They are on sale at various places in London but it would be good to hear from anyone with first hand experience of using them. I really do want a pair of sandals that clip onto the pedals but are just as good when you are not on the bike. I hate wearing cycling shoes which require you to tap dance your way around the streets when not pedalling! Any advice is welcome. Thanks.
Update: Spa Cycles have suggested an alternative product which is half the price (in their sale) and looks even more suitable to cycling in hot conditions – the EXUSTAR SS 502 Sandal. Here is a review by one cyclist who seems to be quite happy with them.
