Not only is the Tour de France 2014 coning to my home county of Yorkshire, it will be passing through the town of my childhood, the place where my parents, brother & his family still live! Well there’s a coincidence on two counts. I live very close to your family home town and looking at your kit I also possess the same bike a Ridgeback Panorama. Only had it a few months as a replacement for my road bike which was written off. Still getting to know it as its a bit slower than the road bike but its one helluva bike.
Coincidence indeed! The Ridgeback Panorama is a good bike and mine (@ReggieTheBike on Twitter) has been ‘pimped’ with some flat trekking bars, a Brooks’ saddle, new hand-built wheels and some fatter mudguards. He still looks good! I’m currently reading the book that is the main rival to my own book, ‘One Man And His Bike’ by Mike Carter, and guess what? He too cycles a Ridgeback Panorama. Where do you live?
