“I bought this book having read some great reviews, I wasn’t sure it would be my thing, how wrong I was. It doesn’t get bogged down with technical details about the bike or equipment, and stays fairly easy on complications to the end, although it’s packed with detail about the journey, the places and the people along the way. It is not a guidebook but I would say it’s essential reading for anyone even thinking of setting out on a similar escapade. It is a diary taking you through one man’s epic trip, at times into the unknown, and surprisingly becomes a desperate page turner. An inspiring read from an author inspired.”
