This is what the book currently looks like, all 42 chapters, 294 pages, and 107,835 words of it. It doesn’t look like a book when it’s all put together like this does it? The last couple of rows of pages are those that have yet to be transformed from raw blog into prose. Once that’s done – hopefully by the end of next weekend – I need to print the whole thing off (at work but keep it quiet) and start the editing process. That could be a whole summer of a job.
Still need a decent title; The Long Road To Puglia is a bit prosaic. A free signed copy* for anyone who can come up with something a little more catchy. And the glory of having named a masterpiece of course 🙂
Published blog post number 1,000 is only a few days away (this one is, I think, number 996) and it would be good to announce on number 1,000 that the draft is indeed finished!
*Subject to publication of course… otherwise you might have to be content with a PDF version of the whole thing.
What do you think?
