La Via Francigena – remember that?

The July issue of the Italain National Geographic (Volume 24, number 1) has an article all about the Italian part of the Via Francigena:

I will have to ask Basil if he can get hold of a copy for me in Italy this summer when he is in Puglia. It seems strange writing about the Via Francigena. Last year, it was the topic of every post on the blog…and it will return once this summer’s Pennine odyssey is over and done with.
