So another year draws to a close – a decade even (and more of that later) – and it’s been another interesting 12 months in the life of CyclingEurope.org. It will go down as the year that Reggie the Ridgeback Panorama touring back was replaced by Wanda the Koga WorldTraveller. It was a good decision and encouraged me to take the decision to book the flights to Japan for an end-to-end cycle that will be the focus of much of 2020. I set off in July and you can catch up on the planning via this page of the website. Not that cycling long distances was off the agenda in 2019; the cycle from Santander to Portugal was the highlight and gave Wanda the perfect shakedown.
