The Cycling Europe Cycle Touring Photograph Of The Year Competition 2019

In its ten-year history, CyclingEurope.org has never really had a competition worthy of the name. However, a few days ago I posted a small collection of photographs of my own bikes in a short article about the freedom of movement in Europe. This got me thinking…

We all know that cycle touring and photography are the perfect match so I give you…ย The Cycling Europe Cycle Touring Photograph of the Year Competition 2019. What a mouthful. Anyway, this kind of thing:

Let’s keep this simple so only a few rules:

  1. Send your picture via email to office@CyclingEurope.org.
  2. The photograph must have been taken in 2018.
  3. The photograph can have been taken anywhere.
  4. It must include a picture of a bike on a cycle tour of at least one overnight stay.
  5. By sending the picture, you give CyclingEurope.org permission to use the image on this website and associated social media channels.
  6. First prize is a signed copy of all three of the ‘…on a Bike Called Reggie‘ books.
  7. Second prize is a signed copy of two of the ‘…on a Bike Called Reggie’ books.
  8. Third prize is a signed copy of one of the ‘on a Bike Called Reggie’ books.
  9. The first prize will only be awarded if a minimum of 10 competition entries are received. The second prize will only be awarded if a minimum of 20 competition entries are received. The third prize will only be awarded if a minimum of 30 competition entries are received.
  10. The closing date for entries is Thursday 28th February 2019 (so you have plenty of time to sift through your photographs, select your 2018 masterpiece and send it in).
  11. The judge’s decision is final.
  12. The winning photographs will be announced on Saturday 2nd March 2018 and published on CyclingEurope.org that day.
  13. Prizes will be posted to any address in the UK.

Hopefully that was indeed simple…

Please share this post and we look forward to receiving your entry soon.
