I finally received an email from the London 2012 Olympics this week about whether or not I had been successful in my application to be a ‘Games Maker’ (or volunteer). It was good news;

“Congratulations!

Following your interview to be a London 2012 Games Maker, we are delighted to inform you that we would like to offer you a role… at the Olympic Games! We hope that you are proud to be chosen to take part in the greatest show on earth.”

But I better stop there before I get myself into trouble with the terms and conditions which made the news earlier this year!
