The Life And Times Of The Koga Kid: Update

Wellโ€ฆ while you were watching all those videos in the previous post (no?) , I was out on a Bike Called Wanda knocking off nearly 50km on a nice ride with a friend along the valley to Hebden Bridge and then a return home via The Piece Hall in Halifax. And Iโ€™m delighted to report that she is in fine fettle to say that she has remained motionless (I canโ€™t be bothered to check if itโ€™s stationery or stationary – I always forgetโ€ฆ) at the back of my living room since our trip to Scotland back in November of 2021.

Shame about being called a c*** by the driver of the Land Rover Discovery shown below. He squeezed past me – mounting the pavement in the process – in order to turn left into a car park at a set of traffic lights. When I politely asked if he considered what he had done to be safe he proceeded to abuse me adding that he would โ€˜knock [my] f****** glasses offโ€™ if I didnโ€™t go away. Nice. I wonder if his family are proud of him. Mmmโ€ฆ Twitter has spoken:

At least the welcome in Hebden Bridge was a good one ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy cycling!

  1. I hope you reported this to the police. The only way people like this will stop being aggressive is if the police have a word with them.

What do you think?
