Ian Street has just written an extended review of Good Vibrations: Crossing Europe on a Bike Called Reggie on his website Into The Orchard. Here is a snippet;
“The book is simply broken down into daily chunks… and each day is littered with little vignettes and observations and it is this that makes the book so enjoyable. Andrew clearly has a good eye and Good Vibrations felt very much like Palin on a bike which is a good thing in my view as the descriptions and snippets are fresh and unique… if you enjoy travel, cycling or both then climb aboard and take the trip.”
The book is outselling Bryson on Kindle & now a comparison to Palin. I am not worthy! (But I’m not going to protest too much.) Thanks Ian.
Note: As Ian makes clear in his honest introduction to the review on Into The Orchard, I was happy to provide him with a complimentary copy of Good Vibrations: Crossing Europe on a Bike Called Reggie for the purposes of a review.
