Regular listeners to The Cycling Europe Podcast will once again see some familiar names on the list of participants in this year’s virtual Cycle Touring Festival. From Markus Stitz to Sophie Gordon, from Joanna Chmara to Rob Ainsley. Just four of the many speakers at the event which takes place from Monday 3rd to Sunday 9th February. Along with Tim sanders, I’ll be giving a talk about my experience cycling in Shetland and Orkney in the summer of 2024. Here’s some more information from Laura Moss, one of the organisers:
Hello everyone,
It’s two weeks until the start of the virtual Cycle Touring Festival 2025 and the programme is NOW LIVE.
Check out the programme and sign up to talks here. Everything is FREE (although donations are welcome) and there is loads of good stuff to listen to, covering everything from Scotland to South East Asia. There are still a handful of talks to add and I’ll send more details about these once confirmed.
Remember to sign up in advance to receive the Zoom link for each talk you want to listen to. This avoids last minute faff trying to join the event, and you should receive a reminder from Zoom an hour before it’s due to start in case you forget to note it down.
Most importantly, a huge thanks to all our speakers, who are giving up their time for free to entertain and educate us all.
The link again is here. Hope to see you online in a couple of weeks!
Happy pedalling,
Laura
