Yesterday I put the final pieces into the jigsaw that is the new cycle touring set-up as I refitted the panniers and installed an old-style (well, pre-smartphone) odometer (which is far more practical that said phone to monitor distances and speed without unlocking the phone). The east coast of Yorkshire, the Isle of Wight, northern Spain and Portugal all now beckon over the next few weeks. As does somewhere in West Yorkshire today as I head out with a friend for a day ride, sans panniers…
