Today the Tour de Yorkshire returned to the cobbles of Halifax and stage 4 of the race set off from the historic Piece Hall. In fairness, we didn’t get to see much of the riders themselves (not to the extent that I was able to see them in the Dordogne back in 2017 at the Tour de France) so I indulged in a spot of people watching, channeling my inner Desmond Morris and focussing the lens of my camera on the great and the good of not just the world of cycling but that of Halifax too. A fun day. Let’s hope they are back soon…
