France is well underway in the preparations to welcome Velo-city 2015, the global cycling summit, from June 2-5 in Nantes.

The programme is in its final stages, having been constructed from a record-breaking 740 submissions from 51 countries. 

6 plenaries, 3 special sessions, 5 TV-style shows, including topics such as :

• Change the rules! Promoting cycling with more or less regulation
• Best mistakes and worst successes
• Where is the money for investments?
• The bicycle market; coaxing demand for supply

and 36 parallel sessions such as:

• Parking solutions for an ocean of bicycles
• Infrastructure: Bridges to a beautiful future
• Cycling as a city changer
• Bicycles and the circular economy

A CYCLE CINEMA, the Velo-ciné, will allow you to discover and be inspired by full-length and short feature films on the bicycle (open to the public through registration).
