Guru Singh – ‘Singh of the Mountains‘ – is challenging himself to cycle over the Alps in aid of Cancer Research. Despite his cold, I’m delighted to say that ‘Crossing Europe on a Bike Called Reggie‘ and ‘Along The Med on a Bike Called Reggie‘ are helping to keep his spirits up:

I feel your pain. Having cycled from Worcester to Istanbul I decided to complete the trip by heading in the opposite direction to the tip of the Dingle Peninsula, the most Westerly point in Europe. I had a window of opportunity in which to do it comfortably and tour round the south West of Ireland for a bit. Lo and behold I was knocked for six just before my departure date by a proper flu bug, completely out of the blue. I set off a week late and found myself too weak to cover the daily mileage I intended. Not good.
