Earlier today on Twitter I suggested that I should take Reggie (my bike) out for a photo shoot. I proposedย various locations; next to the River Thames? The Kennet and Avon Canal (beside rather than in)? The park? The M4 (bad idea)? The motivation for the photo shoot? Reggie has just benefitted from a rather expensive refit prior to the adventures of 2015 (more details about those here). In the end, packing away the remaining contents of my flat ready for tomorrow’s move (part 2 of 3) to Yorkshire and doing my Christmas present shopping took precedence over the photography and, well, it’s not the river, canal or even beside the M4. It’s my kitchen. Apologies.
Here is the list of work that was carried out by Lewis at A.W. Cycles in Caversham (North Reading to me and you…). He doesn’t list giving the bike a very good clean or fitting the replacement handlebar foam that I supplied (although I suppose doing both these tasks isย included in his three hours of work). The only thing that I can lay claim to doing is respraying the rear pannier rack so that it matches the front one that was changed in the summer. I’m quite proud of my efforts.
Enough of this waffle. Belowย are the pictures of a rather fine looking Ridgeback Panorama which has already crossed Europe twice and in 2015 will do so again. Hopefully…
