In Praise Of… Waterstone’s, Completely Novel And The eBook Partnership

It’s taken some time but finally the Waterstone’s website is now listing both Crossing Europe on a Bike Called Reggie and Along The Med on a Bike Called Reggie with their correct titles and front cover images! Many thanks to the people at Completely Novel and The eBook Partnership for persevering. It is much appreciated. All I need to do now is persuade Waterstone’s to stock the books more widely in store. There was an interesting interview with James Daunt in The Guardian recently (“Whisper it quietly, the book is back … and here’s the man leading the revival“) in which he talks in very positive terms about the physical book industry and its future. I fully intend being part of it and it would be a great loss if Waterstone’s were to go the same way as many other high street names in recent times. We need our book shops!Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 09.38.35
