The Chilterns Cycleway

This route almost takes in my daily commute to work from Reading to Henley. It launches on the 18th June 2010 and is described as follows: “This new 170 mile (274 km) circular route in the Chilterns, links attractions, market towns and places of interest. The route is on-road, mostly on quiet lanes, mostly in the Chilterns AONB [area of outstanding natural beauty] and will be clearly signposted.” See The Chiltern Society for more details.
It might prove to be an interesting training route for my summer journey, perhaps on my next half-term holiday at the start of June. The signs will no doubt be up by then!
