I enjoyed a cycle tour round Turkey in Feb 2019 – a short circular from Antalya (easily accessible by plane from multiple UK airports) along the coast to Kas, then back via Elmali inland. Took 5 days cycling (around 600km) with a rest day in Kas. The roads were generally OK although surfaces are rougher than Europe – definitely 32mm tyres country! Also bear in mind that Turkey is much hiller than I had expected – the route from Kas to Elmali, only 100km, involved almost 3000m of climbing! The weather at lower altitudes was very nice in February, but much cooler higher up – I was above the snow line on some roads. Drop me a line on steve@psallidas.net if you want any tips.
