I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with sunglasses and goodness knows how much I’ve spent on them over the years. I remember the cycle from Tarifa to Nordkapp when they kept breaking and having to be replaced. Perhaps the secret is not to spend too much on them in the first place. On that measure, the sunglasses that I was sent by Essence Outdoors a couple of weeks ago, score well. Just £25…
…and on other measures they rate pretty highly as well. It’s not a fiddly job changing the lenses and, with the frame being quite flexible, you don’t feel as though you are going to break anything in the process. Again, when it comes to cleaning the lenses, because they are not in the least bit brittle, you feel quite confident they are not going to break in your hands. Worth considering for when the sun returns, hopefully soon…
Nice! Thanks for sharing.
Are you still getting out and about Andrew ? As I do , much less chance of catching any disease on a moving bike . I caught the virus a month ago …so didn’t get out on the bike a couple of days . Felt lousy for ten days …bit fine now .
Sorry to hear you had the virus but it sounds as though you are now recovered. Yes, I’m trying to get out on a daily basis either cycling or walking. On Sunday I even added going out for a jog to the mix (and am still aching as a result…). Today it was back to cycling; 23km around where I live. I’ve discovered lots of new (to me) nooks and crannies in the past few weeks, some alarmingly close to my front door! Stay safe 😊
They’re a good price tho!
Bit I don’t like the multi coloured lens ..are they ones that others can’t see your eyes . ?
I’m told folks like to see your eyes ….
Not something I checked… 🙂 On the bike, there’s not much scope of gazing into someone’s eyes…
