Handlebar Update: Reggie The Bike’s New Butterfly Wings

I’ve now had Reggie back for nearly a week after his accident (see top picture) but as yet I have yet to test out his new butterfly handlebars (see bottom picture – they are a different brand and the design is slightly different) on the cycle to work due to the flooding and generally wet conditions. In the meantime I’m still pondering over what to do with the broken bars that travelled with us twice across Europe for around 9,000km (plus all those commutes from Reading to Henley-on-Thames & back). Suggestions welcome…

    • They survived 10,000km+… They were damaged (probably) by three ice accidents earlier in January. For long-distance cycling I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them. ๐Ÿ™‚
