Extreme Cycling, Mexican Style: Amazing & Terrifying!

Here’s a bit of cycling from Central America…

“In this footage filmed from a camera mounted on a rider’s helmet, we see race winner Brendan Fairclough’s hair-rasing descent through the narrow streets of Taxco in Mexico. Taking part in the Taxco urban downhill, Fairclough races down steep stairs, on a mud track, through suburban streets, squeezes through alleyways and jumps over makeshift ramps โ€“ all in under four and a half minutes.”

Some heart-stopping moments in there but imagine what it’s like to push your bike back up the hill to the top of the town…
