In Praise Of… Instagram (& IntoTheOrchard.com)

Lots of people are using Instagram; it’s not difficult to see why. It’s a piece of picture editing software that comes in the form of an iPhone app and changes your photos from pristine digital images to retro pics from the 1970s. I’ve seen it in use on many occasions on many websites and on numerous pictures uploaded onto Twitter but it wasn’t until I started following IntoTheOrchard.com that I got off my backside and downloaded the free app for myself. Ian, one of the guys who runs the website uses Instagram and it gives the website a very alluring ‘look’. You can look the website and judge for yourself but here is an Instagrammed picture of a pub from one of his posts about cycling through the Yorkshire countryside. Clearly a man with priorities.

So here are a couple of efforts from me. Expect CyclingEurope.org to time-shift back to the 1970s for a while…
