The times I have done a trip where the return is not by bike it always feels like, while traveling back, you are unravelling things that have been done but at break neck speed. Looking out of a car or mini bus window and associating places with the times you have had on the trip. (never done the plane thing)
The journy home is always too short in time.
It all helps me plan the next trip.
Well done again.
I love the feeling of getting home from holiday, especially if it is cold and miserable. The novelty of having your own fridge and the different car number plates, using pounds and hearing familiar accents…
Since 2009, CyclingEurope.org has established itself as a valued, FREE cycle touring resource. There's now even a podcast, The Cycling Europe Podcast. If you enjoy the website and the podcast, please consider supporting the work of CyclingEurope.org with a donation via Ko-Fi. Thanks if you do!
