I sometimes wonder how many people have cycled in the past or are planning to cycle in the future from the UK to at least northern Italy. It doesn’t take long to find other blogs. Here is another: Oli Robbins, who cycled a fairly direct route from Essex to Venice last July. He has some nice videos of what looks like a damp alpine crossing. He did it very quickly – 1,900 kms in just 11 days. The video shows him arriving at the Col du Grand St Bernard.
