A while since I was at Kings Cross but it still has the feeling of a northern enclave of London with the northern accents and northern names. Getting used to balancing the bike while it is heavily laden – I was a bit anxious about getting on the bike this morning outside the flat and promptly falling off. It didn’t happen although there are plenty of miles left between here and Reading (via Berwick of course) for me to do so. My train leaves at 9.30.
