Just got an email from London 2012 regarding my application to be a volunteer during the Olympics. I had an interview back in November and more recently I have been contacted regarding my driving licence so I am expecting some news at some point… Here’s what the email says;

“Next year is going to be full of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. We know that you’re waiting to hear whether your Games Maker application has been successful – we can confirm that you are still in the recruitment process and we will be in touch soon with more details about the next steps.”

When I glanced at the text, my eyes fell first upon the line “…your Games Maker application has been successful...” and got very excited. I then read the rest of the paragraph! Fingers crossed.
