The Virtual Cycle Touring Festival: This Weekend!

Earlier this month I talked about the annual Cycle Touring Festival going virtual for 2020 and the time is almost here! The festival kicks off later today (Friday) and continues over this coming weekend of the 25th and 26th April. Laura and Tim Moss, who have organised the festival every year since 2015, have done a magnificent job in putting together, once again, an eclectic, interesting and potentially inspiring programme of events.

For the full detailed programme please visit the Cycle Touring Festival website. Remember that for many of the events, you do need to regsiter in advance in order to access the live web streams / webinars via Zoom. Everything is free although you are encouraged to make a donation to the National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal, and a special Just Giving page has been created for those ‘attending’ the festival.

My own contribution – a webinar no less – is on Saturday 25th at 4pm and will be all about my journey last summer across northern Spain to Portugal…

…but you must register in advance. Follow this link to do just that. And, in order to inspire you even more (and to encourage you to donate to the Coronavirus appeal), for this weekend only, the Kindle versions of my first two books – Crossing Europe on a Bike Called Reggie and Along The Med on a Bike Called Reggie – will be available to download for just 99p. (The third book, Spain to Norway on a Bike Called Reggie, continues to be promoted by the publishers for only ยฃ2.98!)
