We Aren’t Out Yet: Put It To The People

Nearly 2.6 million and counting. Have you added your name? (The link is here.) I’m looking forward to joining the celebration of all things EU in London on Saturday at the People’s March. I hope to see, perhaps, some of you there. I’ll be wearing a blue shirt… (People who think that this has nothing to do with cycling as it is ‘politics’ need not comment below; ‘politics’ has everything to do with everything, including cycling…)

  1. Sorry I can’t be there Andrew.

The Members of Parliament have shown they couldn’t run the proverbial in a brewery and this must go back to the people. I don’t know the figures but how many young people will be eligible to vote now that didn’t get a chance the first time?

If there is one good thing that comes out of this I hope it is a shake up of our ridiculous two party domination of politics. Why on earth has there not been some form of cross party cooperation?

Anyway, best wishes for your trip.

What do you think?
