“Montalcino’s long weekend will begin on Friday 25 and finish with the heroic ride on Sunday 27 May. Cyclists, enthusiasts and collectors of wonderful experiences from the Val d’Orcia and all over Europe will participate in the event. We are talking about the second edition of Eroica Montalcino which will take place on the last Sunday of May, involving riders of all ages; from those who are fit enough to cycle the 171 km long route to families who will star in the Eroica fun ride. There are other routes of various distances between the two extremes, so that everybody can savour the “beauty of fatigue and the thrill of conquest” that have made L’Eroica famous and popular the world over.”
