3:45pm: Arrived in Cambridge… very pretty… lots of cyclists… found city centre car park… suffer heart failure upon realising it would cost ยฃ24 to park until the end of tonight’s talk(!)… decamp to slightly-out-of-town Asda until 5pm after which time it’s 80 pence per hour…

9am: Well, almost… And almost ‘live’. A big day for Yorkshire and especially Halifax today with the reopening of the Piece Hall. More of that in about half an hour when the doors open. It may be Yorkshire Day but I’m spending most of it in Cambridgeshire, in Cambridge itself as I’m speaking at an event at the Friends’ Meeting House on Jesus Lane at 7:30pm. Come along!
