Bipolar UK / The Prudential RideLondon

I’ve been asked to pass on this message from the charity Bipolar UK. Can you helpย them?

Who we are:

Bipolar UK is the national charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by bipolar. Over a million people in the UK today have bipolar. We estimate that a further two million people, including loved ones, are impacted by the condition, which can affect anyone regardless of age, gender or ethnicity. Thatโ€™s three million people who deserve to have access to dedicated bipolar support.

We provide a blend of bipolar support including a network of local peer Support Groups, a 24/7 eCommunity forum, Mentoring and a Support Line, to name a few. Details on our full range of services can be found at www.bipolaruk.org.

Weโ€™re a small charity that has a big impact: in the past year alone we supported more than 80,000 individuals and families. And demand for our help is only growing. Weโ€™re determined to meet the need to ultimately support and empower more people affected by bipolar. But we need your help.

What the event is:

The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 is an annual cycling event, which celebrates the cycling legacy created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. One for the early-risers, it starts at 6:00 am on 30 July 2017 in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Riders have a rare opportunity to navigate the capital via a closed-road-route as they head out to Surreyโ€™s stunning countryside before a spectacular finish at The Mall in London.

Whether youโ€™re an old-hand at sportives or a first-timer looking for a challenge, weโ€™d love to recruit you to Team Bipolar UK! In return, we ask for a reg fee of ยฃ20 and fundraising target of ยฃ550.

We have guaranteed places, but once theyโ€™re gone, theyโ€™re gone. The final registration deadline is May (exact date TBC). If youโ€™re interested, contact Bipolar UKโ€™s fundraising team via 0333 323 3780 or fundraising@bipolaruk.org or check our their event page: https://www.bipolaruk.org/Event/prudential-ride-100
