The Cyclist’s Bucket List / Le Tour Race Log

Just arrived home after a weekend visiting friends back in my old life in Reading… and discovered these items of great beauty on the doorstep. They have been sent by Laurence King Publishing and are very nice indeed; The Cyclist’s Bucket List, A Road Bike Journal andย Le Tour Race Log.ย They’d make great presents for a cycling fan who loves his / her notebooks…

The Cyclist’s Bucket List:

“The ultimateย road cyclists bucket list!

Have you ever … ย ridden Lโ€™ร‰tapeย du Tour, taken part in the RAAM or cycled in a velodrome? Use this beautifully illustrated journal to write notes about your most demanding sportives, iconic rides and experiences. Tick off the challenges as you complete them to encourage you to push your boundaries and take your cycling to the next level.ย

With 30 illustrated challenges and 115 blank pages for users to write in this is the perfect journal for any road cyclist.

Eliza Southwood specialises in silk screen printing, but she also works in mixed media, watercolour and acrylic. One of her favourite themes is cycling and she has produced a range of prints, often inspired by the classic bike races.”

Le Tour Race Log:

“Keep track of every stage of the world’s most famous road race with this illustrated journal.

This is a complete guide to every aspect of Le Tour, from who wears the polka-dot jersey and why the route changes each year, to how team tactics work and what the riders eat and wear on the road. There is also every opportunity for you to record each day’s activities, including the details of each stage, who wins each of the day’s competitions, and who is in the yellow jersey.
