5 Stars: Cracking Read

on 8 November 2015

Couldn’t wait to start reading it after finishing his first book. I loved the humour which had me in fits of laughter. I also enjoyed following the route on Google from chapter to chapter. Can’t wait for the next one!

5 Stars: Great read

Great read. I felt I needed to be along for the ride. Looking forward to the next volume in the series (if there is one?)

5 Stars: Enjoyable and easy to read cycling road trip across southern Europe.

I imagine that most readers would be cyclists of some description, as I am, but this is a book that does not labour the cycling too much. There is just the right blend of history and geography. I get the feeling that the author is a normal bloke and not a hard nut outdoors type – I too would be looking for hotels on a regular basis. I’ve read it post summer holiday and ended up looking at the route on Google Maps and using streetview to see the sights that Andrew did – it certainly adds to the tale. A pleasant read especially knowing the Provence / Languedoc region personally. I am looking forward to the next episode in 2016.

5 Stars: A jolly good read

Read Andrew’s previous book, and this is better. He doesn’t bore us with the minutiae, and keeps it flowing well.

What do you think?
