Well, I wasn’t quite expecting to be sitting typing this by the edge of a beautiful sandy beach with clear turquoise water lapping on the shore. Pity there isn’t a blue sky and temperature to continue the tropical island description but you can’t have everything. It is, apparently a great place to see the midnight sun. Mmm… There’s a problem there so let’s just move on. I feel that the remoteness and wilderness factor has just gone up a big notch. Strange because the Lofoten Islands are full of tourists…
