When I visited the newly-opened (to the public) Lee Valley Velopark at the Olympic Park in London yesterday, the stands were being set up for the 2014 UK Handmade Bicycle Show. It’s a pity it wasn’t open; I went last year when it was in Bristol and throughly enjoyed the day… Great location! It opens today – 11th April – and stays open all weekend.

But after my recent fracture I am looking for wrist bands made of Kevlar or similar to protect me from further injury when I am back on the saddle.
