This weekend sees the men’s and women’s road races. They start and finish on The Mall in central London and if you don’t have a ticket for The Mall itself you won’t get in. However… everywhere else on the route is unticketed meaning that you can just go along and watch which is exactly what I intend doing. I have a Gamesmaker volunteer shift that starts at midnight tonight and continues through the night until 10am so I should hopefully be able to see the start of the men’s race on Saturday. I’ll need a quick snooze in Hyde Park somewhere before watching the cyclists arrive back in central London mid-afternoon.
