Here’s Matt Krog from Cape Town. He has been my first Warmshowers guest of the weekend and today he heads off to Devizes before cycling to Wales & then Ireland. It’s his shakedown for his main trip of the summer along the Eurovelo 6 from Nantes to Budapest. I just realised that there is a downside to having people like Matt stay overnight; extreme jealousy that he is off on his adventure while I am contemplating my return to work on Monday. Ah well… My further adventures will come soon. Two more guests arrive later today; an Anglo-Finnish couple who Matt may well bump into as he cycles towards Newbury & Hungerford as it is in the latter of those two towns where they spent last night. My day incidentally is being spent in London where I will complete my Olympic training. Only problem is that I have badly overestimated the frequency of trains from Reading to London on a Sunday morning and I’m going to be late for the 8am start. Very late… Ooops.
