Cycling

Number One…

…in Germany, with a few caveats. My German isn’t great (as you will know if you have read the account of my cycle across German-speaking Switzerland), but it looks as though Good Vibrations: Crossing Europe on a Bike Called Reggie is the top-selling English language cycling e-book in Germany! Crack open the Leibfraumilch! But hang on, hang on… I know something that you don’t. I have, as yet, only sold one copy of the book in Germany, probably either to my friends in Hamburg or my friend Claus in Stuttgart who gets plenty of mentions in the book as I spent the day in Strasbourg with him. He did suggest the other day however that he hadn’t yet invested so my sales in Germany may yet double. Where will that take me in the chart?

P.S. In the UK I’m at a more meaningful number 8 in the cycling chart and number 33 in the travelogue section for e-books. One of Bill Bryson’s books is at number 32 ๐Ÿ™‚ I like that!

What do you think?
