I wish the people who moan about the council not having invested in sufficient snow clearing equipment (see any newspaper letters page a few weeks ago) could see this. Some chump – you can ring them if you want – presumably bought some snow chains for their car and then had second thoughts once the snow had disappeared within a matter of a few days. At least the councils have more strategic thinking.
