Is one of France’s best exports coming to Reading? And not only that; opposite the back of the block of flats where I live? I have long evangelised about the joys of the sports & outdoor shop and there are a few up and down the country here in the UK – in London, Nottingham and the North West. I never imagined that one would open literally on my doorstep. The flat building in this picture – disused for quite some time – is being gutted and there is an A4 notice on the hoardings outside with, in the corner, the Decathlon name….
